Mendefera Mines: Deeper In

Alexi continues mining and after having just found gold she is surprised to run into some silver. As she does so she mines out around it and carefully extracts it. She has gotten about a pound of it this way and she puts it in her bottoms backpack. She resumes mining and is happy to have gotten material instead of the rocks that she had gotten earlier. She resumes mining where she had been before and is making a good pace. She hopes to find a ruby or sapphire.

Alexi continues mining and after having found the gold that she had found and after finding the silver that she had found she comes across a large section of iron. At least it is large for what she had found before. She is happy as she masterfully extracts the iron. When she is finished mining it there is about 3 pounds left. She puts the 3 pounds of iron into her bottoms backpack bringing it so that there is likely 5 pounds of material in the backpack. She then resumes mining.

Alexi continues mining along and after having found the silver she comes across some more natural steel. She mines the natural steel out and then puts it into the backpack. She figures there was a pound steel that she had just mined out. Now there is a glint of green in the rock and she calls over a dwarf who mines it out and then leaves after thanking her for allowing him to mine it out. She then goes back and resumes mining. She is thankful for the material that she has found recently.

As Alexi continues mining she is getting a little sore again. She comes to more gold and carefully and now masterfully extracts it. She puts it in her bag and there is about a pound of it leaving about 7 pounds of material in her bottoms backpack. She then stops and sits down taking another break. She has gotten pretty dirty from mining but it was all worth it. She then gets back up after about a 5 minute break. She then resumes mining again.

Alexi continues mining and comes to some iron that she mines out. As she mines it out it is a little bit more than the average amount at about 2 pounds. She puts the two pounds of iron in her backpack and then goes back to mining through the dirt and the rock again. She is pretty happy with the material she had gotten so far. After she filled the bag again she would probably wake Tokara up because she was about ready to be done with the mining for now.

Alexi continues mining through the dirt and the rock after having found some iron. As she continues she is now seeing a little bit of gold. Though here a little bit seemed to be all you found of it at a time. When she mined it out and extracted it masterfully she found that there was about a pound of the gold in total this time. She puts the pound of gold into her bottoms backpack with the other material and then she goes back to mining again wondering what she'll run into next.

As Alexi continued mining through the dirt and through the rock Alexi ran into a rather large vein of coal. As she mines through it she extracts it masterfully and then puts it into her bottoms bag. That got her much closer to having as much as she could carry. She figures that there was about 10 pounds of coal in that last vein that she had just mined out. She then resumes mining the dirt and the rock as she was hoping to find at least one more mineable gem before she left the mine.

As Alexi continues mining through the loose material she comes to another vein of coal very similar to the last that she had mined. She mines it out with a lot of skill and puts about 7 pounds worth into her bag. She then 'donates' the rest of the coal to the dwarves. She picks up her gear and then heads back to the entrance of the mine. On the way she waves goodbye to the guards as she is hoping to avoid coming back here today.

Andras looks around a little after the dwarf leaves and wonders if this is indeed a better spot that the last spot had been. Regardless he unfolds the pickaxe again and sets about mining this new area. The last one had started to get hot for him so he wondered if this one was going to be good as well or if he should have stayed at the last place until his luck had dried up a little bit.

In this new spot Andras comes to a speck of coal which he mines out and then he comes to a clump of rock that he mines out that has some sapphire in it. He then sets both the coal and the Sapphire with the other material that he had set aside so far today. He examines it for a second before returning to his mining. For now he had forgot about his thirst and was just intrigued by this new mining spot.

Andras continues mining and comes into a moderate pocket of iron which looked nice so far as he was on a steady stream of material to this point. He sets it with his other iron that he had previously mined out. He figured he had about 15 pounds of iron to this point which was actually getting to be a pretty good total and an amount that he can actually do something with when he gets to a place where he can smelt the ore and then smith it into a weapon.
