Mendefera City Mines

As Alexi continues mining through all of the freaking rock she finally finds a decent vein of iron that she mines out and sets in the keep pile. She now takes a short break from mining as she is getting sore from it. She stretches some and bends down to touch her toes and then goes to a different stretch. After a short while of stretching she is back to mining again. She swings the pickaxe at the wall of rock hoping to have some luck and get something good again and not another long section of nothing but rock.

Upon getting to the mine tokara let crackers out of the bottom back and tied soot to a post and gave her some feed to munch on. After that tokara took the saddle bag off her and started in to the mine. He took his writ out and showed a dwarf. The dwarf let him by as crackers follows like a happy dog, ear flapping and tongue out. Tokara took a pickax out of his bottoms bag and begun to mine. He also didn't know who to look for this friend of falas.

Alexi continues mining and comes into even more iron though it is only a small amount. She mines out the pound of iron and puts it on the keep pile. She then goes back to mining as she had been before. She mines through the rock and as she does so she wonders how long it will be before this Tokara shows up. If she sees him she'll talk to him but right now she doesn't see anybody else so she is continuing to mine as she is still hoping to find more good material.

Having done the first strike he found 10 pounds of coal. Which cold come in handy so he mines it out and stuffs it in the bag. He moved down some and begins to swing the pickax in another spot. Crackers would wander around the mine sniffing and started to mark some stuff. Tokara kept swinging his pickax and looked at crackers. “get back here crackers.” he yelled.

Alexi continues mining and is just mining through rocks now as she has no special ore or gems in it.  She isn't bothered by it and is now back in a good mood for mining.    She is hitting the wall of rock in a steady rhythm.  As she continues mining she begins daydreaming about what it would be like to be able to mine onyx regularly and about how much money she would be able to make if she was able to do that.  As it was she was FAR from being able to do such a thing and at the rate she was going it would take her forever.

Tokara smashes thought the rocks as he then sees a ruby in front of him. He completely forgets about crackers and carefully excavates the ruby. Cracker meanwhile is heading down the mine sniffing around. Every now and then barking just to startle himself with his own echo. Tokara finally gets the ruby out and then POOOF it turned to dust in his hands. In a cry of defeat he falls to the ground. “NOOOOOOOO.... I failed to remove the ruby.” he then begins to mine again.

Crackers would soon find himself sniffing some ones foot and begins to barks and wail behind falas new friend.

Alexi continues mining and is now getting back into some iron that she is able to mine.  It does not appear as though there is much iron there but she puts the effort of getting as much as she can from it.  When she is done she has 1 pound of it mined out that she puts on the pile of the keeper material that she has already mined out.  She is almost at her carrying capacity right now but she has a couple more pounds she can carry.  As she continues mining she figures anything over her carrying capacity for now would just end up 'donated' to the dwarves.

As Alexi continues mining she is no longer in the iron or the gems but now she is in rock again and failing to gather anything of any value.  It would be frustrating again but right now having just gotten some iron she had no problem with mining rock.  As she continues along she hears someone yell something about a ruby and figures that they did what she had done earlier with an onyx.  She would much rather screw up a ruby than an onyx, but the issue with the onyx was going to be her little secret.

Suddenly she is jumped by a loud dog yowling at her feet. She instinctively immediately uses her magic on it and levitates it in front of her until he is eye to eye with her. Alexi wags her finger at Crackers. Bad dog! You should know better than to scare people. Where's your owner anyways?

She stopped scolding the still yowling beagle and began mining with the dog still being levitated in place. She comes across some more iron and puts it in her pile of materials. She looks at the dog. You're going to stay there until your owner comes or until I get another pound of iron. she says. She then returns to mining. She wants to get this done so she can get the yowling but adorable dog back to its owner. It was definitely cute though.

Tokara would mine out the two pounds of iron. He stuffed it in to his bag and slowly moved towards the barking. “i be there shortly crackers!” tokara would yell hearing the barking still. He set the bag down and continued to mine. He was in no hurry to get to crackers as crackers had found some thing.

Cracker how ever yelping became more rapid. This would drive and dwarfs nut in the mine.

Having only found more rocks tokara picks up the saddle bag and begins walking deeper in. his pants would make a metallic noise as he walks he was getting closer to cracker as her was just around the corner. “Shut up crackers I am here.... once I mine this spot right here...” he swings his pick hard at the rocks. Hoping for iron or coal. Then again some gems he could mine would be awesome as well.

But poor crackers just let out a low tone groan floating in the air. In his little doggy mind he was wondering if he should pee or not.

Alexi is continuing mining ignoring the floating dog.  It is humorous to her to an extent if not cruel.  As she mines she is getting more and more rock.  She hears the apparent owner say that he is coming so she figures he'll be there shortly so why bother stopping mining.  After all she doing him a favor by watching his dog.  She is a little bummed about all of the rock that she is mining into.  She figures she'll end up into some iron soon though.  It had also been a while since she had mined into some gems.
