Escorting the Miners Quest

enz nodded, "i'll do my best" she said before grabbing her things before being escorted out... in the hall enz put on her gauntlets and helmet, and walked outside and marched strait to the mine, protected and ready for combat, she would be certain to make sure the miner is safe, she wont let him down, she will do her best to not fail...

upon leaving the city she drew her weapon ready incase she came into contact with a bandit...

walking along the road to the mine weapon at the ready... bandits... she hated them... stool her stuff a while ago... though those bandits were hundreds of miles away in another land... it was sunny and visibility clear but it was hot... thank god her scale male breaths... unlike plate armor... but still, the metal reflected a lot of heat but also absorbed a lot too, she could feel the hot warmth of the armor as she marched along

Enz then turned down the road that had a sign pointing to the dwarven mine... spinning her blade in hand out of boredom... so far it was quiet... perhaps there were no bandits... humming along her ears perked up listening for anything, tail swaying left and right as she walked along, her maw opened slightly to breath in cooler air to help cool her core temp as the sun was high beating down hot rays of sunlight

upon arriving at the mine she goes about and finds the miners she is to escort.

"Hello there... I am enz... reptilian as you can see... I am here to escort some miners safely... are you them?" enz asked them, as she walked up to them... bowing slightly to the miners, "I assure you I will protect you with all my might... even down to tooth and claw..." enz jokes... "you wont be harmed" enz assures the miners looking over them.

the large stocky dwarf looked at her, his load in a pack on his back was filled to the brim with natural Steel.  his legs quivered as she mentioned protection. "I that would be me. i hear the bandits roughed up Floyd up good. i would like to be able to still be walking by the end of today thank you. lead the way." the scared dwarf waited for Enz to begin walking. he was more then ample to fight but the pack on his back weight allot so he couldn't fight back even if he wanted too.

Enz then nods and then begins to walk back to the city, "stick close and keep a keen eye out for hostiles," enz said as she continues to walk along.

her sword-Staff at the ready, enz now more alert walking in the middle of the road as to get enough time to defend if bandits attack, "I assure you no bandit will lay they dirty fingers on you" Enz Assured the dwarf before coming to the main road.

with the dwarf still following enz now walking down the main road, her ears perks up, Enz looking around for hostiles, seeing none so far, the heat pounding down, enz was hot... breathing through her maw, the dwarf was probably sweating a storm like enz but even worse perhaps... always looking back to make sure the dwarf was still following and making sure no one was coming up from behind them... it would beb ad to look back and only see a blood trail leading off to the bush's...

as some time passed enz pulled out some smoked jerky offering the dwarf some to eat as they walked along, "just chew on it... it helps to calm the nerve... delicious too" enz said as she stick a large piece of smoked jerky in her maw chewing a bit before simply sucking on it... the meat was warm and hot due to the heat of the day... she loved warm smoked jerky it enhanced the flavor. making her mouth water an juice up with delicious spiced meat flavor.

They were now almost to town... and no encounter yet... which was good... she probably scared off the bandits as fully clad and armed with an exotic weapon probably scared em off, making them think she was a professional merc or something like that... swallowing the jerky juice it was delicious she chews on the meat more swallowing a chunk that was soaked of almost all its flavor before chewing and sucking on another section of the large piece.

(Event roll lead to a 2 on a weighted die which means that it's a good event. Good event roll lead to a 3 on a weighted die roll which means material find. Material roll lead to a 20 on a regular die leading to a very good material find.)

As Enz walks along chewing and sucking on her jerky she would notice a large sack in her path. If she searches it she will find ten pounds each, in one pound bars, of Iron, Silver, Gold, Steel and even Earth Ore.

Having found a sack in her way... enz looks at it... then walks over to pick it up searching through it her eyes widened... she looks around and see's nothing... perhaps it fell out of a wagon... looking back at the dwarf she smiles, "heh... well... looks today was nothin but luck... your safe little dwarf..." she said, slinging the pack over her shoulder, and heading to town of which was not far passing the gates she looked at the dwarf... "well were here... not a single scratch on you... hell only fortune today... be safe..." enz said to the dwarf with a smile

Thank you so much. Well, now fer yer reward. He hands her 1k. So, do you want an additional 2k, 20 dwarven steel or 10 yards o' leather? asks the Dwarf waiting to see which of them Enz wanted for a reward.

enz took the 1k gold and then thought about what she wanted... before nodding and said "I would like the dwarven steel please, i can use it more than the gold" enz said looking at the dwarf with a smile. enz held out the bag she found earlier so that the dwarf can put it in there. this quest was a fortunous day... she liked it... perhaps furtune will continue to smile upon her when she persues another quest
