Sidney rides out of the gates of Mendefera on his new horse. This looked like the area where he had saved Avril from bandits when they had first met. As he continues on he can tell that this is a good horse that he is riding. It is much faster than the rented horse that he had earlier. As he continues on the trail starts to get a little rougher and shows signs that it is less travelled than the ones closer to the city.

Sidney continues on and the trail is getting more forested now. Sidney is definitely impressed with the speed of his new horse. come to think of it he hadn't heard its name at the stable. Apparently he would have to come up with a name for her. He thinks for a bit but he can't figure out a name off from the top of his head though he would keep on thinking for quite a while he still couldn't figure out what he should name her.

As Sidney continues on the mountains start to level out a little bit and in the distance there are flashes of lightning. He figures he must be coming onto the border of Tempestas and Humus. He had planned on crossing the border far south of where his hometown used to be because it would have been out of the way to get to and it would have taken much longer for him if he had gone that way as it was quite a ways to the north of where he was now.

(Roll was a 1 which is unique encounter/dungeon. Unique roll landed on a 5 which is a fine dog encounter.)
As Sidney travels along he can see a medium sized dog running around happily. It definitely is thriving in its environment and at first glance one would think that someone owned it and took care of it around here yet the nearest village is several miles away.

As Sidney is travelling near the border of Tempestas and Humus he happens upon a dog. He slows down for a second but it looks healthy enough that he figures someone must own it so he speeds back up and continues on his way. It doesn't take very long before he is in a great plain area with lightning crackling in the air. He figures that he must have reached Tempestas now. Now he just had to make it on to the capital of Mistcliff.
