    Leatherworking/Tailoring Leveling Guide

Leatherworking/Tailoring - Ability to sew and repair your damaged cloth or leather armor without paying a Leatherworking/Tailoring NPC. At level 50, you get a permanent 10 points to put in either Magic, Hand to Hand, or Stamina. At Level 100 you can socket your cloth or leather armor instead of going to an NPC.

    Level 15
You can work with Cow leather and Basic Linen or Cotton Cloth. You can take out stitching and sew it back together, changing the form of the cloth/leather. Your creations keep the standard defense and weight of the approved item, as if it could have been made by an NPC.

    Level 20
Your skill is increasing; you learned a new technique that makes the stitching sturdier. Your creations now Boost 1 defense to the approved item (Ex. Approved with 5 Defense. If you make it, it is now 6 Defense)

    Level 25
You can Tan your own leather.

    Level 30
You can use wool. Your creations now Boost 2 defense

    Level 35
Your material can be worked differently, making it lighter by 1lb if 2lb or more(will only bring weight down to 1lb min if original weight is less than 2 – no weight of 0lb)

    Level 40
You can use wild animal pelts made into leather. Your creations now Boost 3 defense

    Level 45
You can use Canvas, a very durable, slightly waterproof fabric. Your material can be worked differently, making it lighter 2lb if 3lb or more (will only bring weight down to 1lb min if original weight is less than 3 – no weight of 0lb)

    Level 50
You can attach metals to your leather, Ex. Chainmail to chest piece, Steel toes to leather boots. (you can’t make the metal material unless you also have blacksmithing). Your creations now Boost 4 defense.

    Level 60
You can use wild animal scales (snakes, alligators, etc.). This gives a certain amount of waterproofness. Your creations now Boost 5 defense

    Level 70
You can use Fleece and Velvet. Your creations now Boost 6 defense. Your material can be worked differently, making it lighter 3lb if 4lb or more (will only bring weight down to 1lb min if original weight is less than 4 – no weight of 0lb)

    Level 80
You can use Unmagical Dragon, Drake, and that type scales. Your creations now Boost 7 defense

    Level 90
You can use Silks and Satins. Your creations now Boost 8 defense

    Level 100
You can socket your cloth or leather armor for adding special gems or different materials. You can imbue some magical abilities from your materials into the armor (added magic resistances from certain scales). Your creations now Boost 10 defense. Your material can be worked differently, making it lighter 4lb if 5lb or more (will only bring weight down to 1lb min if original weight is less than 5 – no weight of 0lb).
