Scouring the Battlefield for Evidence

(Starting post so I can roll in the next post)

Atlas exits the city gates and immediately spots two guards standing off to the side of the gates. He reads over the contact information in the briefing once again and heads over to them giving them a brief salute. Greetings, I am Specialist Theophilus and I assume you two are the privates who are to work with me on this assignment? We should spread out to look over the battlefield here for any items from the Hydra. It states in the briefing that we should try to find at least three items from the hydra. This is to determine whether or not it was influenced to attack the city. While scouring the battle site we need to stay in sight of each other at all times. Is everything clear?

The member 'Atlas Theophilus' has done the following action : Dices roll

The two guards nod and then follow Atlas' orders.  These guards were only privates and this was somewhat of a training excercise for them as they begin to look around.  Atlas would have to keep an eye on them more than search for remnants of the battles more likely than not.  As they continue searching one of the two of them is getting quite aways ahead of Atlas and the other Private while the other was doing good and obeying what Atlas had said.

(Two rolls for two privates. Also, because of the searching around it is more likely for events to occur so 15-20 is an event.)

The member 'NPC Event' has done the following action : Dices roll

The guard that was off by himself does a splendid job of searching and finds an ambush of Noob Bandits. Seven in total jump out and surround him. All of them have one long crude iron dagger.

Atlas looks over as one of the privates gets ambushed.  He frowns and then starts to run over, he decides to either make them run or draw their aggro.  HEY YOU STUPID BASTARDS!  WHY DON'T YOU GET INTO A REAL FIGHT!?  He bellows this as he charges towards them.  These privates were probably not going to be good in a fight and if they got killed he'd probably be demoted or dismissed from duty, especially if they had gotten killed by idiot bandits of all things.

(1 roll per noob bandit, 1-2= Flee, 3-4= Attack You, 5-6= Attack him)

The member 'NPC Event' has done the following action : Dices roll

Three of the bandits continue closing in on the private while two of them run away and the other two start to charge you.

Meanwhile the Private that is being surrounded unsheathes his sword and prepares to defend himself while the second private appears to be coming to help Atlas.

Atlas frowns as two of the bandits charge him and three charge one of the privates. As he sees the second private come to aid him he barks at the private. Go help the other private! I'm fine! He then faces the closest charging opponent and steps towards him before attempting to pick him up and use spinebuster on him. If the move hits it will place him on his knees shortly but it won't be for long.

Atlas succeeds in grappling the bandit and as the bandit lands on the ground he is unconcious and perhaps even dead as he breaks his spine on impact. Seeing this the second noob bandit that's charging him turns and flees. Meanwhile the private that Atlas had redirected is charging towards the other private and the 3 bandits there. One of the 3 turns to face the onrushing private while the other two perform a two pronged attack on the other private who blocks one of the attacks with his sword but is slashed in the side by the other bandit causing him to take 5 damage to his 20 health.

Atlas too starts to charge towards the 3 bandits. As he approaches the two fighting the one private he runs in and cocks his fist back. His hope is to blindside one of the bandits with a punch to the side of the head, though it is an unlikely outcome as it is hard for someone as large as him to sneak up on someone while running at a full sprint, even considering that he wasn't wearing armor or making any unnescesarry noise.

As the bandit that Atlas was swinging at was preoccupied with having his attack blocked by the private Atlas catches him in the head with his punch, knocking him down and causing him to scurry away. The other bandit slashes at the Private that Atlas was assisting but the Private blocks the attack with his own sword as they are now at a deadlock. Meanwhile the other bandit and private also enter a deadlock with their blades.

Atlas steps back for a minute trying to figure out what to do as both of the privates have their blades locked with the bandits. While he doesn't know if it is the best decision or not Atlas decides to just let them fight it out for now as these bandits didn't seem all that threatening and the Privates would eventually have to be able to handle themselves against opponents that were better than these bandits were.

One of the two privates shifts his weight and then sweeps the leg of the bandit he is locked up with and proceeds to stab him as he falls, injuring him severely. The bandit scuries away. Meanwhile the other private tries to overpower the other bandit. The bandit hops backwards causing the private to lose balance. As he does so the bandit thrusts upwards and right into the throat of the private, killing him before taking a defensive stance and smirking at Atlas.

Atlas frowns as the bandit taunts him. He slowly starts to walk towards the bandit and motions for the other private to get out of his way as he gets between the bandit and other private. He is slowly advancing towards the bandit while being in a relatively defensive stance, as not to run into a piercing blow from the bandit that had already killed one of the privates under his charge. So far his first mission back with the guard was not going well.

The bandit grins at atlas and suddenly pulls out a knife that he throws directly at Atlas. The throw is accurate and unless Atlas does a drastic dodge will hit him. Meanwhile the private has moved out of the way, but is not standing directly behind Atlas. He is visibily shaken at the death of his comrade and doesn't know what to do. Truthfully it is a good thing that Atlas was the one taking the lead as the private wouldn't know what to do.

As the knife is thrown Atlas actually picks up speed and begins charging the last bandit. The only defensive maneuver he makes is an attempt to avoid it hitting a vital spot. As he approaches the bandit he attempt to sweep the bandit off from his feet with a hard kick at his legs, grimacing a bit from the knife that had just stuck into him and expecting to take another direct bladed attack from the bandit at point blank range, hoping it doesn't hit him in a critical location.

The knife hits Atlas in the right mid-section. The bandit is caught off guard by the reckless charge and following leg sweep, causing him to fall down and drop his sword. He reaches over for the sword but it's a little out of reach for him so he crawls over to get it.

Upon sweeping the bandit off from his feet, literally, Atlas moves quickly to attempt to grab onto his leg and then turn him onto his back where he would try to step on the bandit's back while initiating an ankle lock, wrenching on the ankle roughly.  If this succeded the bandit would be in a tremendous amount of pain as this would strain or tear tendons, muscles and the bone structure of the ankle itself if the bandit did not get away from it.
