Personality:
Haunted by the meaningless life he lives, Emerald is someone that doesn't like to be with others or talk to them. he's anti-social but that doesn't stop him from working in towns and cities to earn money. He dislikes greedy people, wanting the rich to be generous or dead. His work as a hunter and enchanter put him through many intellectual exercises in magic and survival. He's developed an instinct for both.

Motivation: Number 1: finding purpose. Number 2: destroying greed [an all consuming thirst for money that over takes a person to the point that they put other people in danger] (and the monster that killed his family. Number 3: Finding a place that isn't so hostile.
