    Traveling rules

#1 Random Encounters: random encounters are as its named random, they can be monsters or item events. These are also the main way to gather experience for leveling, or finding materials from monsters. Everything you do in a post can change the chance of encounters, down from attempting to do a job to trying to cross a flowing river. Be wise when attempting something as it can give you monsters way past your level.

#2 Posts for travel: on here if you travel alone it takes 20 posts to get from point A to point B. if you have a party of two or more its 15 posts each, and the group must have at least one person saying every now and then changing the area surrounding them like giving key details like they are now traveling through an open field with a lot of view, with trees lining the sides, with a small stream going through the middle of the valley. It also helps to state the weather it won’t always be sunny and bright out(also wouldn’t be good because shiny armor might attract unwanted attention), and not all the areas have the same climates. if you want admins can give your group a small help with places(admin forty would be the best bet as he is making the map.). it will not be uncommon for forty to throw a curve ball to increase traveling time due to the areas terrain or weather, example is thick marsh's and swamps or blizzards and massive rain storms.

#3 Horses: there are three kinds of horse types on this site. Speed, endurance, and agility these are the basic types. There are cross breeds of two types for more helpful but cost more. Horses can be bought at stables around towns or from random farms. be warned if you have a horse and get an event monster there is a high chance it will be a horse killer, a monster that only attacks horses for meals.

Speed horses as you would guess are raw speed meant to get to a place fast without stop it’s easy to out run most monsters with these horses can’t carry much weight. 3 well done posts to travel to another town, and 6 to travel cross continent.

Endurance horses are the slowest but are heavy built horses and can wear armor to avoid being injured in a fight also useful for hauling large limbs of monsters most are big enough to seat two people. 5 post to travel to another town, 7 posts to cross continents.

Agility horses are not the fastest but a close second as they like to jump obstacles and move up uneven terrain better then speed or endurance horses, great for explorer who needs a horse. 4 well done post to travel to another town, 5 continents as it’s easy for them to take short cuts over rough terrain.

#4 The Train: the train is by far the fasted mode of transportation as it only takes one post to get to any town and two for any continent(this only applies for the continents around humus). However a train cannot travel to any town that hasn’t been visited by a crew working on the rails.
