Preliminary Round Match 5: Tokara Shire vs. Garic Morr

An older man with gray hair, wearing black pants, a white shirt and a red bowtie is standing in the middle of the tile floor of the arena awaiting Tokara and Garic.

A relatively small orc with dark short hair walks into the arena. He has some exquisitely crafted plate mail on and wields dual hand axes. As he walks he is playing to the crowd, getting them to start cheering and cause an uproar. It's obvious that he is a competitor that loves the attention. So, ready to see me be awesome?! he yells out to the crowd before holding up a v for victory sign both entusiastically and cockily.

Tokara slowly makes his entrance carrying a nice looking steel hammer in one hand, along with his splitting maul in his other hand. his body was coated in monster metal as he had no head armor, just a leather cloak with its hood down so the orc could see tokaras face as he stood there liked a statue, on tokaras back was the meteor sword and his iron great saw. the sword's where huge as he had a bit of a hunch to accommodate for the weight he carried, He slides his monster metal mitten hands up the neck of the hammers and pounds the head of the hammers on his chest to make an intimidation factor as he lets out a hearty battle roar and holds one hammers head out out as if pointing to Garic, his face stern and ready to fight. his roar made some people cheer more as they could tell both combatant's where both ready to fight.

The referee motions for both Tokara and Garic to stand where they are supposed to and once they are both there he speaks.  The only real rules here are to stop fighting if your opponent is unconscious or gives up.  If you say that you give up, you immediately lose.  Also, please note that the sphere around the fighting area is magic and will repel you if you come into contact with it so try not to.  Now make sure to stay still as the arena will now morph and the only places that are guaranteed safe are the starting points and a spot for me.  

After saying this the referee stays where he is.  The air gets extremely cold and the tiles freeze, forming into ice. The icy floor is uneven and has some cracks when it finishes forming, both competitors can see their breath and the temperature must be sub-zero.   After the area finishes changing the referee motions and yells Begin Fight!

Garic rolled his eyes at Tokara and holds his ground. After the match is started Garic speaks to TokaraReally bro? Using a battle roar to try to scare an orc? Pretty weak. Let me show you how it's done boiiii. He then unleashes a less than fearsome battle roar himself that isn't near as unnerving as Tokara's. Orcs weren't all that known for battle roars unless they were half ogre. Now ogres had some good ones.

Tokara spits to the side and lets out his breath to check the winds. if the air got much colder he would be in trouble both of them would be frost bite was known to happen easy in the lands of lymphye. and this area seemed to mimic it well. all to well making a slowl half hearted atmpt his way over the cracking ice he hold out the steel hammer at the end of the grip while he kept coked up on the iron splitting maul. "weak is the one who talk too much." tokara said bluntly and throws his head forward to protect his ears from the chilly air, the hood of the cloak would provide little protection other then that it was tokaras wits about his home that might cause him to win or loose with out to much frost bite. the first stages of this brutal cold would be the numbing of the fingers his mitten gauntlets would provide a little protection but not much. he soon was glad to be wearing plate armor. it had few gaps where heat could escape from, but the mail would chill to this weather. this fight might have to be done quickly.

Garic laughs at what Tokara says.  There are more than a couple of things that determine strength.  You could also say 'Weak is the one unable to adapt.'  So my question to you is how easily can you adapt?  After he finishes saying this he lets out an animalistic roar that does not sound like something that should come from him.  Suddenly he hunches over.  Fangs come start to form to match his lower fangs and tufts of fur begin to sprout from his skin, giving him great protection from the cold.  His eyes become like a cats as the center forms a slit and claws burst from both his toes and fingers.  For now he is maintaining a relatively human form.  It was obvious that Garic was a skilled Wild Mage.

Tokara was shocked, the orc started to turn in to a beast, but now what kind of beast was her. agreed tokara would need to adapt but he would need to make every attempt of moving more careful the ground was slick and uneven. every thing was againest him in this place... just how he liked it. as a smiled crossed his face the heavily armored man starts a slowly jogs towards the orc turning in to a beast and raising his steel maul in one hand with ease. the only thing tokara would be able to do is keep moving keep warm. this would slow his chances of frost bite. He was waiting for the cat orc beast to try and make its move at him and he would swing the steel hammer if they did but for not he needed to close the gap.

The half transformed orc laughs at Tokara. Run big guy! Come on! You can do it! Just a little further. After saying this he turns and starts to run away from Tokara at a pretty good speed while using his new form to help him move a little faster. If this was what it came down to Garic was starting to really think this would be easy, all he had to do was stay away from the big man until frostbite started to set in.
