Traveling to the Mendefera Mines

(1 stands for nothing, 3 gold which lead to a 9 amount roll which is 400 gold, 6 is gear which due to the lack of gear on the bandits lead to a coin flip to see if it would be weapon or armor result was tails or armor, second 3 was a gold roll which lead to a 10 amount roll which is 450 gold.)

The first bandit has nothing on him. The second bandit has 400 gold on him. The third bandit's chaps were useable and could be looted if wanted. The fourth bandit had a pouch with 450 gold in it.

Koroseta takes the coins but leaves the bandit's chaps on. She looks to the mercenary. "Not that it's a great find, but if you wanted to you can take those chaps, they seem to be in good condition and I don't want them." The mercenary declines and they make their way towards the mine as they are almost there now. It was great how short of a distance it was between the city and the mine, a bit surprising too.

Koroseta and the mercenary head back towards the city of Mendefera. This time Koroseta felt like she had accomplished more as she had a lot of ore granted that most of it was not worth all that much except for the gems that she had gotten that would be worth 6k. Doing the math in her head she figures she has 6150 gold worth of material. As they approach the city they get to where the bandits had been and notice that they are gone.

(Led to a 1 event roll which is an encounter. Led to a 15 which is a regional creature which for mendefera is an Alicorn.))

An Alicorn flies down and lands near Koroseta. It begins grazing. For some reason it seems comfortable being around Koroseta as it continues grazing.

Koroseta skirts along the Alicorn and continues towards Mendefera. The mercenary looks to her in disbelief and then shrugs. Koroseta looks over to him. "I'll post it Mendefera and maybe get some money from it. I don't really have any business with messing with an alicorn." They continue on towards the gate getting closer and closer to it. By now the alicorn is out of sight and to Koroseta at least the alicorn is also out of mind.

As Koroseta walks an alicorn feather floats down from the sky and lands in front of Koroseta's feet.

((Short but not much happens in it.))

Koroseta picks up the alicorn feather and then continues the rest of the way to the city. The mercenary goes along with Koroseta as they go to the city. The gates open and they go into the city. The first place Koroseta was going to go was the workshop to sell her ore then the merc's guild to pay the mercenary and relieve him of his duties. Then the Barracks to report the alicorn. From there she would head to the inn and get a shower.

Alexi leaves the city gates and begins heading towards the mine. She wonders what it will be like there. She had mined before though she may not look like the type to mine. As she continues along she can hear the sounds of battle from the fights with the Talos and the Hydra. The sounds freak her out a little so she picks up her pace hoping to stay away from the fights. Right now was probably a very bad time to be outside of the city gates. She starts to wonder of travelling alone was a bad idea.

Alexi continues on and as she does so the walls of Mendefera though still looking huge, look a bit smaller. It isn't long before she can see the entrance to the mines ahead of her. She hopes she can get to the mines before she runs into any trouble and at this point in time it looks like she might be able to. She picks her pace up again and hurries towards the mines. She wondered if she would end up running into Tokara and from Falabella's description of how he acted around women she was a little worried about the encounter if it was to happen.

Tokara ride soot he named her though the gates as crackers would bark at the guards. Tokara shook his head as her road on to the mines tanks to soot the traveling would be quick. The gates would get smaller as he made soot trot faster. Rubbing crackers head and looks don at him. “stop barking last think I need is you attracting attention..” with that tokara felt uneasy walking this road alone it felt eery. Soot would let out a grunt as they neared the mines.

As Alexi leaves the mine she has to let her eyes re-adjust to the light outside. It wasn't as late as she had figured that it would be when she had gotten outside. She starts making her way back to the city hoping that she didn't run into anything outside there. If it was a minor fight she would be o.k. but she was not looking forward to a fight right now. She never was much of one for fighting but if she applied her magic she would probably do fine especially since she could heal herself.

As Alexi continues on she can see the city again. She couldn't wait to get to the city again. The bag was a little heavy for her, the first thing that she should do was sell the sapphires. She figured that Glaidus would by the gems as they could be used for enchantments. She wasn't sure that she wanted to sell the golden start sapphire at this moment though as she hadn't seen anything like it before. She wondered exactly what the going rate on sapphires was right now.

Soots hooves would glop across the dirt road the sound was prominent and tokara pulled back on the rains to slow her up. “easy girl no use wearing your self out yet. Whoa... there.” he would say that as she trotted around in a curicle and shook her head with a whiny. Crackers would started whining loudly ash he was hungry. “oh what now crackers.....oh wait I haven’t fed you any food yet... come soot travel so I can get to the city.” he jiggled his armor plates on his legs to get her going.

Koroseta exits Mendefera on this fresh day. It's a crappy one and there is a light mist. She frowns as she never was fond of having to go anywhere on a rainy day. As she heads to the mine she comes up with something she hadn't thought of before. She could actually become a blacksmith. Why not? She didn't know if she'd have to travel somewhere to set up shop or not.

In the end she decided that she should talk to Glaidus and ask if he knew where would be a good place to go. She'd have to mention it when she went there to sell any goods she got from mining.

To that end Koroseta figured that she should start trying to build favor with the Dwarven miners if she was going to mine the material herself. As she continues towards the mine she can't help but remember the previous day's events. It kind of gave her the chills knowing things were so out of hand that a giant bronze golem could get so close to the city. After a while of thinking about this Koroseta has now gotten to where she can see the mine ahead of her.
