    Open Wound Care

    Coat a weapon with a 50/50 mixture of crushed herb and water, Crush herb into a poultice, apply directly onto effected skin, or make into a drink of 50/50 (hide it in strong flavored food or drink).  Only need a teaspoon ingested to be effective (ingestion takes one extra post for effect).  Can be inhaled in the form of smoke (takes one extra post for effect)

    Physical Description: The papaya is a large, tree-like plant, with a single stem growing from 16 to 33 ft. tall, with spirally arranged leaves confined to the top of the trunk. The lower trunk is conspicuously scarred where leaves and fruit were borne. The leaves are large, 20–28in in diameter, deeply palmately lobed, with seven lobes.  The flowers are similar in shape to the flowers of the Plumeria, but are much smaller and wax-like. They appear on the axils of the leaves, maturing into large fruit - 5.9–18in long and 3.9–12in in diameter. The fruit is ripe when it feels soft and its skin has attained an amber to orange hue.

    Physical Description: short-lived aromatic herbaceous perennial, growing to 31 in tall, with sparsely branched lax or erect stems. The leaves are oblong-lanceolate, 2–7 in long, hairy on both sides, and with margins entire or occasionally waved or weakly toothed. The flower head is 4–7 cm diameter surrounded by two rows of hairy bracts.  An intense orange-yellow color. The flowers may appear all year long where conditions are suitable

    Additional Details: A poultice of the leaves can be applied to wounds, stings, and sores in order to facilitate healing and prevent infection. The active chemical constituents are aucubin (an anti-microbial agent), allantoin (which stimulates cellular growth and tissue regeneration), and mucilage (which reduces pain and discomfort)

    Physical Description: A perennial plant with a rosette of leaves 15–30 cm in diameter.  Each leaf is oval-shaped, 5–20 cm long and 4–9 cm broad, with an acute apex and a smooth margin. The flowers are small, greenish-brown with purple stamens, produced in a dense spike 5–15 cm long on top of a stem 13–15 cm tall (rarely to 70 cm tall)
